Barony of the Rhydderich Hael
Seige Engine Guild Charter

With this charter does the Rhydderich Hael Siege Engines Guild erupt into existence and consequently, so shall it fade into the abyss of time without it.

Ownership: The Baron and/ or Baroness of the Rhydderich Hael, Their Royal Majesties of the Kingdom of Æthelmearc, and the
Society for Creative Anachronism.

Goal: It shall be the endeavor of this guild to explore, learn, educate, promote, and compete with, all (possible) aspects and surrounding attributes of the historical use of siege weapons throughout the established time frame of the Society for Creative Anachronism, (hereby referenced to as SCA).

To accurately recreate the world of the almighty siege engine in both the historical development of the weapons themselves and the methods and techniques of the crews who used and fought with them throughout the ages.

It shall also be the goal of the guild (and all its members) to establish a guild minimum of researching, designing, building, maintaining, and manning at least one working siege engine of suitable scale along with an educated and trained crew to operate the weapon efficiently and safely while in accordance with rules and regulations set forth by the SCA.

Officers: The guild will consist of a minimum of five officers:
The Guild Master: whose term of office shall begin and end every even year at the Summers End event held in Beau Fluev.
The Sergeant at Arms. The Chief Timberframer.
The Exchequer. The Chief Engineour
Upon ratification of this charter the following individuals are noted as being the founding officers and their titles:
